On 8 December to mark International Anti-Corruption Day, the EPA hosted an ethics webinar that explored the topic of whether ethics is compatible with the pursuit of success. The pursuit of success is applicable to most people and to all organisations, and achieving success would be widely admired. However, the crucial question is whether ethics and success are viewed and treated as being compatible, or whether they are more likely to be seen as being mutually exclusive. Cynthia Schoeman, the EPA chairperson, discussed a number of perspectives of success and the ethical implications and lessons.
