Dear Members,

I trust you are healthy and well.

It’s incredible how quickly time passes! Who would have guessed that Christmas 2021 would arrive so quickly. While many of us have begun to consider vacation plans, a few of us still have a few loose ends to tie up before we can switch off our computers for a well-deserved vacation. Before we part ways, I’d like to provide you with an update on recent EPA developments.

EPA MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENTS

This year the EPA introduced a redesigned membership application process in line with changes to our Memorandum of Association (MOI).  In particular, the two distinguishing membership categories; Associate member (our introductory membership category) and the (EP)SA designation.

Applications opened early in the year and we have successfully awarded 6 members the (EP)SA designation to date.

As we move into the 2022 membership period we will be requiring members to submit their applications for either membership category, together with payment using the recently launched digital application platform managed through the EPA’s secured Google Drive.

There are two links provided below which can be used for the membership application submission, one which navigates directly to the application form but requires supporting documents to be mailed through to the EPA, and the second which requires a Google log-in that allows secure upload of all supporting documents.

EPA MEMBERSHIP DUES FOR 2022

Invoicing for the 2022 membership period will commence in January 2022 and we foresee no increase in membership subscription for either membership category (Associate or (EP)SA members).

*Please note that in order to satisfy required governance and professional standards, we require that members that have not yet done so, complete the application forms as detailed above inclusive of supporting documents when submitting your membership payment.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: SAVE THE DATE: 21 JANUARY 2022

We will be conducting our AGM on Friday 21 January 2022. A formal notice will be distributed in the first week of December 2021. We urge all our members to please participate either in person or through proxy as a number of key developments will be discussed and open for input, including the launch of the EPA’s Code of Ethics.
